Dark Screen: dim, moonlit and quiet
A screen that is dark but not dead. It opens on a moonlit coast at night in deep blue, already dimmed: a lighthouse turning slowly, a little moonlight on the water, a few stars and fireflies.
It is for the times a bright screen is too much but a black screen feels like something switched off: late evenings, a TV in a dark room, or a second monitor you want to keep quiet.
Keeping it dark Night scenes are the darkest part of Snoozy Hills, and the deep-blue colour is the darkest of the colours. With Dim on Medium or High the screen gives off very little light but still has the moon, the lighthouse beam and the fireflies to rest your eyes on.
If even the moon is too bright, the Sleep Screen page uses a rainy forest at night with no moon at all.

Colour Orange, ember, wine, violet, deep blue or pine, or a plain full-screen colour. Landscape Mountains, hills, forest, desert, savanna, coast or a cherry-blossom valley, drifting in slow parallax. Time & season Dawn to night. Spring blossom, summer fireflies, autumn leaves, winter snow. Weather & sound Clear, rain, snow or thunderstorm, plus an optional soft rain sound and gentle flute or piano music. Wildlife Birds, a circling eagle, deer, a bear, foxes, an owl, sheep, lions, elephants, giraffes, swans, dolphins, whales and a camel caravan. Auto Let the scene drift through the day, colours, seasons and weather on its own. Dim & zoom Darken it for night-time, or zoom in and drag to look around.

Questions
How dark can it go? Set Dim to High for the darkest version. Beyond that, the Black Screen page is pure black.
Does it stay dark in auto mode? This page opens with auto mode off, so it stays on the night coast until you change it. Turn auto on and it will move through dawn and day as well.
Is it free? Yes. It runs right in your browser: no app, no sign-up and no ads covering the screen.
How do I make it full screen? Press F or the full-screen button. The controls and cursor hide by themselves after a few seconds. Move the mouse to bring them back.
Does it work on a TV, tablet or phone? Yes. Open the page in any modern browser. On a smart TV or a casted screen it makes a calm ambient background for the room.
