Hello, and welcome to Snoozy Hills.
Whatever brought you here (winding down, settling in to focus, or just needing a quiet moment), I hope this little window of calm helps. Take a slow breath. There's no rush here.
I made this to be gentle, free and ad-free. If it brings you a bit of peace and you'd like to say thanks, a coffee keeps it that way for everyone.

Desert Screen: dunes and mesas at golden hour
Sharp-crested dunes in the foreground, flat-topped mesas on the horizon, a natural rock arch and a small oasis of palms. A camel caravan plods across the middle distance, tumbleweed rolls through on the wind, and meerkats stand watch on the near dune.
It opens at dusk, when the sky goes deep red behind the mesas. At night the desert is clear and starry, with shooting stars and a bright moon.
Desert light The desert changes most with the time of day. At dawn the mesas are pale and misty; at midday the dunes are bright with sharp shadows; at dusk the whole sky goes red and the dunes turn to silhouettes; at night it is the clearest sky on the site, with the most stars.
Thunderstorms over the mesas are dramatic if you want them: lightning lights up the whole plateau.

Questions
Does it rain in the desert? Rarely, and only if you choose it. Snow never falls here; winter in the desert simply looks like the dry season.
What is the rock arch? A natural sandstone arch on the far dune, like the ones in the American south-west. The camels pass in front of it.
Is it free? Yes. It runs right in your browser: no app, no sign-up and no ads covering the screen.
How do I make it full screen? Press F or the full-screen button. The controls and cursor hide by themselves after a few seconds. Move the mouse to bring them back.
Does it work on a TV, tablet or phone? Yes. Open the page in any modern browser. On a smart TV or a casted screen it makes a calm ambient background for the room.
