Savanna Screen: a wide plain at sunset
A wide, open plain under a big sky. A lone acacia stands in the foreground, giraffes browse the far trees, a family of elephants crosses the middle distance, and zebras graze between them. A snowy peak sits on the horizon with a thin line of smoke from a volcano.
It opens at dusk, with the sun going down behind the far hills. Lions rest in the long grass some evenings, and at night the stars come out over the plain.
The savanna at different hours Dusk is the signature view: the sun drops behind the hills, the acacias go black, and the giraffes become silhouettes against the red sky. Day is bright and golden; night is dark with a wide field of stars.
Snow never falls here, so winter simply looks like the dry season. Try the Ember colour for a hotter, redder sunset.

Colour Orange, ember, wine, violet, deep blue or pine, or a plain full-screen colour. Landscape Mountains, hills, forest, desert, savanna, coast or a cherry-blossom valley, drifting in slow parallax. Time & season Dawn to night. Spring blossom, summer fireflies, autumn leaves, winter snow. Weather & sound Clear, rain, snow or thunderstorm, plus an optional soft rain sound and gentle flute or piano music. Wildlife Birds, a circling eagle, deer, a bear, foxes, an owl, sheep, lions, elephants, giraffes, swans, dolphins, whales and a camel caravan. Auto Let the scene drift through the day, colours, seasons and weather on its own. Dim & zoom Darken it for night-time, or zoom in and drag to look around.

Questions
Which animals are there? Giraffes and elephants most of the time, zebras often, a lion or two some evenings, meerkats on watch, and a big bird of prey circling by day.
Is there a watering hole? Not any more; the plain is kept open and simple. The elephants walk the middle ground and the giraffes keep to the far acacias.
Is it free? Yes. It runs right in your browser: no app, no sign-up and no ads covering the screen.
How do I make it full screen? Press F or the full-screen button. The controls and cursor hide by themselves after a few seconds. Move the mouse to bring them back.
Does it work on a TV, tablet or phone? Yes. Open the page in any modern browser. On a smart TV or a casted screen it makes a calm ambient background for the room.
