Mountain Screen: peaks, a lake and slow light
Snow-capped peaks rise behind a still alpine lake. A cable car climbs to the nearest summit, a fisherman sits on the jetty with his line in the water, a rowboat crosses slowly, and deer and mountain goats graze on the slopes.
It opens at dawn, when the light is pale and the mist lies on the lake. Move to night for a moon over the ridges and, in winter, the aurora rippling above the snow.
Seasons in the mountains Spring puts blossom on the lower trees and petals in the air. Summer brings fireflies to the lake shore at night. Autumn turns the woods and sends leaves drifting across the screen. Winter freezes the lake, piles snow on the roofs of the cabins, and on clear nights the aurora appears.
Try Deep Blue for a cold, moonlit range, or Pine for soft green slopes under a misty dawn.

Auto Let the scene drift through the day, colours, seasons and weather on its own. Dim & zoom Darken it for night-time, or zoom in and drag to look around.

Questions
Is there snow on the mountains all year? The high peaks keep their snowcaps in every season. In winter the snow comes down to the lake, the trees carry it, and the lake freezes over.
What is on the lake? A wooden jetty with someone fishing, a rowboat that crosses now and then, a family of ducks, and fish that leap in the afternoon.
Is it free? Yes. It runs right in your browser: no app, no sign-up and no ads covering the screen.
How do I make it full screen? Press F or the full-screen button. The controls and cursor hide by themselves after a few seconds. Move the mouse to bring them back.
Does it work on a TV, tablet or phone? Yes. Open the page in any modern browser. On a smart TV or a casted screen it makes a calm ambient background for the room.
